In the midst of a heatwave and World Cup, it’s been great to see so many of you at our events. It truly has made a difference, and as we grow this project, it’s amazing to know we have so many dedicated volunteers!

Check out what’s coming in July, a very busy month of events, as well as other offers and news:

We have the wonderful SouthWestFest this Saturday! It’s a fun community festival near Pimlico in South Westminster, and the event needs fun, bubbly volunteers to keep the stalls active. There are two shifts (morning and afternoon). Check it out here!

We also have Pride in London - the applications are still open, so sign up before you miss out.

Note: I will be at Pride in London to coordinate, and my colleague Samia will be at SouthWestFest.

The Saucony London 10k is one of the capital’s most vibrant running events, attracting thousands of runners of all abilities. The 2026 edition will see participants running past iconic London landmarks, cheered on by a lively crowd, before finishing in the heart of the city.

As a Rewards Area Volunteer, you will play a key role in ensuring that every runner’s finish-line experience is memorable. After months of training, the moment they cross the line is a huge achievement, and your support in the Rewards Area will help celebrate that success. Check it out here!
